[D]ai Rei is his full first name, and he may argue with you until hell freezes over, and you get that into your head.

He's quite the proper young man, in the way of posture and most customs, and is quite a rich man as well, having money sent to him ever since his father died, and ever since then, he almost never leaves his house, unless it's to check on the company his dad owned.

In all honestly, the trait of being a vampire wasn't naturally in Dai's blood, but like in the book Cirque du Freak, there are other methods of passing on this DNA.

He is a smidget ignorant, even when another is the same rank as him; he finds it to be a challenge. To avoid burning in sunlight, he arrives at work in the early morning, before the sun has gone up, and leaves in the evening, or when the sun has gone down.

Vampires can at least someone tolerate sunlight, uncommon to stereotyped belief, and some are forbidden from drinking blood from certain animals.

Also, quite a few vampires are fairly neutral about humans, but there are many who think of them as weak, or don't have a care for them in general. Mister Sepulgre here thinks of his human form that he use to have, as a pitiful existence, and believes he has done himself a favor by becoming what he is.
